About Us

The University and College Law Enforcement Association (UCLEA) is a professional organization focused on addressing common law enforcement issues that are unique to the post-secondary higher educational environment within the State of Arizona.

Through the collaborative effort of the UCLEA membership, the unique issues faced by law enforcement officers working on a university or college campus can be identified and strategies formulated to address those issues.

The membership of the association will be from all levels of job classification as the goal of this organization is to address issues from a global perspective.  The Association will provide support for all members in labor matters to the extent of it's resources.

Members will be provided legal representation for action brought against an individual member or group of members.  UCLEA will collaborate on law enforcement issues that need large scale efforts to affect change through it's voting membership within the Arizona Police Association (APA).

The APA represents the interests of all levels of law enforcement within the State of Arizona and works to create positive changes through the state legislative process and/or governing board/body that oversees the issue of concern.
